Explosively Alive (Part 1)

In the Gospels, Jesus speaks to a lifeless young man and commands, “Arise.” The impossible happens: life returns. That same power, called dunamis in Greek (where we get dynamite), is still alive and available to us today.

Too often, we don’t experience it because we don’t expect it. We show up without hunger, without faith that God could move in our lives right now. But when hearts are open and expectant, heaven responds. Worship becomes alive. Healing, renewal, and joy begin to break through.

God isn’t looking for perfectio. He’s looking for permission. He waits for hearts that simply say, “Lord, have Your way in me. Do what only You can do.” When we give Him that freedom, the ordinary becomes explosive, and our gatherings become alive with His presence.
